| Planting Day is Thursday, May 26, 2011! |
Petunia planting always takes place on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend (the planting date has been moved twice by one week due to freeze warnings). Some years we have had to postpone it due to weather factors.
If you would like to join in the fun, simply show up around 4:00 anywhere along U.S. 31 from the Charlevoix Inn (north side) to M-66 (south side) and look for a fluorescent tee-shirted block captain.
As always, planting will be followed by a picnic - one way the KCB board and many community businesses and organizations can say "thank you" to all of you who come out to plant with us. |
