Petunia planting usually takes place on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend. Some years we have had to postpone it due to weather factors.

If you would like to join in the fun, simply show up around 4:00 anywhere along U.S. 31 from the Sleep Inn (north side) to M-66 (south side)... and look for an orange-vested block captain.

As always, planting will be followed by a picnic in East Park ... one way the KCB board and many community businesses and organizations can say "Thank You" to all of you who come out to plant with us.

This year Planting Day is Thursday, May 26, 2005.
